My name is Alanna Kearney and I am an Accredited Play Therapist. I obtained a post graduate diploma with The Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy affiliated to the National University Of Galway.
Previous to this I have completed various other studies such as psychology and childcare. I trained within the field of psychiatric nursing which then led onto studying C.B.T. I attended all relevant training courses in first aid, child protection, non-violent intervention, confronting bullying, mindfulness and much more. Having worked with children for more than twenty years, I have had the privilege of working with various organisations inclusive of child welfare agencies, hospitals, schools and institutional facilities.
